This coming April, we embark on an unforgettable journey to the eternal crossroads of the Mediterranean--Sicily!
For 11 days, we see quaint villages, Greek and Roman ruins, exotic private and public gardens, an active volcano, and so much more.
Our adventure begins and ends in Philadelphia as we fly non-stop to Rome where we then catch a short hop to Cantania on the east coast of Sicily. From there we begin a journey through time to explore ancient ruins and fanstastic scenery and--of course--great gardens. Driving clockwise along the lower tier of Sicily, we end up in Palermo where we fly to Naples for two wonderful days on the Bay of Naples.
Below are some of the outstanding highlights that are a part of this tour:
Villa Trinità - Mount Etna
Casa Cuseni - San Giuliano
Cactus Nursery - Gli Aroma Farm
Garden of Case del Biviere
Palermo Botanic Gardens
La Mortella - Island of Ischia
The cost: $5850
(per person, double occupancy--includes airfare from Philadelphia)
